This art piece is similar to a Gallery Wrap or Standout mounted prints in that they add dimension by extending out from the wall. Float wraps are unique as they appear to be floating on the wall with the main focus on the image. In addition, our Float Wraps come ready to hang on your wall, meaning no frames or brackets needed!

Float Wraps are created by wrapping your photographic or canvas print around a masonite core to create a thin wrap. The print or canvas is protected with a laminate and padding is added between the print and the masonite to give the front of the Float Wrap a raised, elegant look and feel. The back of the Float Wrap is complete with black paper backing and a gatorboard block that allows the Float Wrap to extend out from the wall, this block contains the holes for hanging.

To us, these words are a perfect description of Nataleen – one of our recent boudoir clients. She came to us in order to create a sexy gift for her boyfriend. Their one-year anniversary was last month and Nataleen wanted to do something extra special for him. Like any smart girl, she planned ahead – allowing our entire team to create the best possible results for her. The Iowa winter tried to get in our way as the worst snowstorm of the season hit the day of her session. Not to worry, we shifted the date and had a great time when we finally had the honor of creating her portraits!

Nataleen came to us with some great ideas – using white fabrics to create an intimate bedroom scene. We picked up a bed netting and added our own twist to the set. Using our new fluorescent light setup really made her eyes pop and gave her skin tones a very soft look. She brought some black outfits that were great against red, using our boudoir chase lounge against the brick made her stand out. We finished with a 40′s style look for her, using our changing area curtains and some back-lighting we created a stage scene for her. Her long black evening gown went great against the red curtains and again against our silver metallic wall – she made that dress look fantastic!

By the time we wrapped up her session – our studio was an aftermath of laughter and some awesome portraits. Don’t mind the mess, Nataleen – we had a blast chasing you throughout the studio and we enjoyed seeing Steve’s reaction when you brought him in to show off his gift!
